Virginia State University- Virginia State University invites applications for a tenure track faculty position to teach full academic loads (12 hours per semester).   The position (#F0539) has the primary responsibility for teaching two or more of the following areas each semester-  Introduction to Criminal Justice, Juvenile Justice, Courts, or Policing at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

 

Position/Rank and Salary:  Assistant/ Associate Professor , Tenure Track-Criminal Justice/ Rank and Salary Range Commensurate with Education and Experience.

 

Qualifications:  A Ph.D. in Criminal Justice, Criminology, or Sociology is required.  A demonstrated commitment to undergraduate and/or graduate teaching is essential; commitment to research and scholarship in the discipline of criminal justice; must have strong educational preparation, strong teaching, scholarship and research experience at the college/university level.
